Get a Self-Updating Local News Portal With Full Admin Control

I built a trending news platform that delivers quick updates in multiple languages like English, Hindi, Urdu, and Bhojpuri. The goal was simple: keep the layout clean, organized, and engaging so readers can browse any type of content without feeling lost

Key Features

Organized Categories: World, National, States and City, Travel, Trending, Hot, Popular, and Videos. Everything sits where users expect it, so finding news is easy.

Multi-Language Reading: Readers can switch to the language they’re comfortable with, which helps the platform reach a wider audience.

Video Support: Articles can include video clips and other media, giving stories more depth.

Automatic News Updates: The system pulls fresh stories from different sources through RSS and keeps the categories updated throughout the day.

User Submissions: Both registered users and guests can send in their own news through a simple form. Admins can approve or reject submissions, which keeps quality in check while still involving the community.

Better Reader Interaction: Users can read, share, and engage with posts without any friction.

Why I Built It

I wanted a single place where people could get trending stories fast, no matter what language they prefer. The platform mixes automation with user participation, so editors save time and readers always get fresh content.

Tech Stack

  • WordPress with a flexible theme
  • Custom RSS integration for automated news pulling
  • Elementor for design and layout
  • Multilingual plugins for Hindi, Urdu, and Bhojpuri
  • Guest submission system with admin approval

This setup keeps news flowing, helps the platform grow across languages, and maintains good editorial control while still letting the community be part of it.

Fast & User-Friendly VAT Calculator APP and WP Plugin

When I started building Swag Calculator, I wanted something that didn’t look like a dull business tool. Most tax or VAT calculators online feel like 90s spreadsheets so I built one with swag.

The idea was to create a tool that helps anyone quickly calculate VAT, GST, or total bills but with a smooth, modern experience. It began as a simple Android app, then I later turned it into a WordPress plugin for web use.

The Android app version focuses on speed and clarity. You open it, enter an amount, choose the tax rate, and instantly see your results. It works offline, supports both VAT-inclusive and VAT-exclusive modes, and has one-tap copy sharing for invoices or WhatsApp.

The WordPress plugin brings that same clean logic to websites. Using a simple shortcode, anyone can embed the calculator into a business site or dashboard. It’s optimized for Elementor and adjusts to light or dark themes automatically.

Swag Calculator was built to prove that even the simplest tools can look sharp and feel effortless.
It’s not just about numbers, it’s about bringing style to everyday work.
